We are thrilled to announce that Corporate RD Stacey Scaman has been selected as the newest member of the Ontario Long Term Care Action Group! The OLTCAG is a subcommittee of Dietitians of Canada, that works to promote RDs practice in Long Term Care and advocate for ministry support on various issues pertinent to practice in Ontario.

Stacey has been involved in the Long Term Care sector for 10 years and has held a corporate role with Seasons Care for the past 6 years. “During this time, I have worked alongside many amazing Dietitians and other disciplines who taught me a great deal of what I know today” says Stacey of her experiences in the industry. Stacey has a passion for education and has presented on various platforms from Dietitian of Canada conferences, Sysco-on-Demand Days and the Point Click Care Summit in California in 2015. Stacey has also actively served on the Gerontology Network Workshop Committee for the past 5 years, getting the chance to assist in choosing topics and speakers to provide further education opportunities to Dietitians.

“I believe in a proactive approach to nutritional care for our residents by providing hands on tools and resources that help and support Dietitians do their job efficiently and effectively.  I look forward to collaborating with this great group of fellow Dietitians as part of the OLTCAG in continuing to support our Dietitians and advocate for further changes in our industry.”
