Well, it’s official! Seasons Care consulting RD Di-Shen Manuel is off to Ghana for a few weeks. Di joins the MEDA team, along with some other partners from peopleCare homes, for this exciting opportunity.
Through various fundraising efforts before the trip, over $120,000.00 was raised! Congrats to all!
The group is travelling to northern Ghana as part of the GROW (Greater Rural Opportunities for Women) project, that supports women who farm soybean to maximize their yields, support market links and increase their overall incomes. Di will be getting hands on in the field and in the towns, working closely with the local women to learn how the money and support is being used.
