Each year, the Gerontology Network of Dietitians of Canada recognizes gerontology network members for the Marie Taylor Award for Excellence in Long Term Care, Seniors Nutrition and Dietetic Practice. The purpose of this award is to recognize excellence in Dietitians working in the Long-Term Care and Seniors Health Field in the provincial regions across Canada. Marie Taylor was a “visionary champion for the dietetic profession and an advocate for the rights and well-being of the elderly”. This award has been established to honour her memory and perpetuate her vision.
Congratulations to Seasons Care Corporate Dietitian, Katrina Anciado for winning the 2022 Marie Taylor Award for Excellence from the Gerontology Network of Dietitians of Canada. Katrina is an exceptional leader in Long-Term Care, her passion and Resident focused approach, promoting quality for our Seniors makes her an amazing RD and very deserving of this award!
