Qualifications
- CSNM (Canadian Society of Nutrition Managers) Membership required
- Must have proof of COVID vaccine, TB testing and vulnerable sector police check
- Preference will be given to applicants with experience in Long Term Care
- Ability to work independently/self-directed
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrates an ability to problem solve
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of computerized long-term care documentation programs an asset
- Travel may be required with some positions
Responsibilities
- Complete Resident nutritional assessments including new admission, quarterlies and annuals
- Visits/monitors Residents during meal time
- Manages and maintains the Food & Nutrition department
- Ensure Residents’ nutritional care needs are met
- Coordinate the purchase of food, supplies and equipment
- Conduct monthly food inventory
- Management of established budget
- Adhere to heath, safety and sanitation procedures
- Consult with Dietitian on nutritional matters
