Qualifications

  • Certified Nutrition Manager (NM) or Registered Dietitian (RD)
  • Knowledge of Long-Term Care or Retirement Food Service Operations
  • Understanding of LTC and Retirement regulations and food safety standards
  • Strong project management skills — from planning through implementation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (bilingual required)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrates an ability to problem solve
  • Computer Literacy – knowledge of MealSuite/Synergy an asset
  • This position is for project-based work on an as needed basis
  • Work is remote/virtual

You are an organized, adaptable food service professional with experience in Senior Living and a strong understanding of menu planning, regulations, and food safety. You’re comfortable working independently in a remote, project‑based environment and managing multiple priorities with confidence.

You’re a quick learner when it comes to technology and menu systems, and you enjoy building, reviewing, and maintaining menus and recipes within software platforms. Detail‑oriented and solutions‑focused, you communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and bring consistency and care to every project you support.

Responsibilities

  • Work within menu software platforms to build, manage, and maintain menus, recipes, and related tools to support Partner Homes.
  • Ensure all menus, recipes, and food service tools comply with applicable regulations, standards, and corporate procedures.
  • Review and evaluate menus to ensure they meet nutritional requirements, Resident needs, and industry best practices.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of new technologies, programs, and food service solutions for Partners.
  • Lead menu planning and recipe development projects, including therapeutic, texture‑modified, and culturally appropriate menus where required.
  • Complete audit, data entry, and validation projects related to menus, recipes, and food service systems.
